The Sunday Salon- September 5, 2010

The Sunday Salon

So I had a great birthday week!  On Wednesday, my birthday, I had a bunch of surprises.  First, my parents ordered me mini cupcakes from my favorite cupcake store in town and had them delivered to my school for me and all of my kiddos.  Then my best friend from Colorado sent a beautiful boquet of flowers to school.  And then my best friend, who has been living in Europe for 5 months showed up at school!  I knew she was in town, but I didn't think I was going to get to see her until yesterdary!  For dinner, my boyfriend took me to my favorite restaurant, Melting Pot, and gave me a dozen roses and my Tim Tebow jersey!  Then yesterday my parents surprised me by throwing me a surprise party at Jellyrolls, my favorite piano bar. There were a whole bunch of friends there, from different groups and was so much fun!  I am so lucky and it was a great way to kick off my 30s!

I finished and reviewed the following books this week:
The Mystery of the Third Lucretia by Susan Runholt

I fulfilled items in the following challenges this week:
2010 100+ Reading Challenge: 118
2010 Young Adult Reading Challenge: 87

I am currently reading Brightly Woven by Alexandra Bracken and up next is Rescuing Seneca Crane by Susan Runholt.
